Meet my miracle skincare saviours for summer.
I work in an office, and everyday I was finding my make-up was not standing up to the heat and humidity. I was at breaking point as I was sick of being an oily greasy mess. I remembered ages ago that I liked the Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream, for some reason it had fallen off my radar, most likely for something I thought would beat it- but most likely didn't. I had also stopped using primer, for some insane reason I thought I didn't need it anymore. I hopped onto The Body Shop's website as they email me virtually everyday alerting me to some form of deal.
You might notice the moisturiser is an insanely small pot, I actually thought I was ordering the normal size and was very surprised when I saw it for £4, when it arrived I couldn't believe the mistake I had made.
Combined, the primer and moisturiser have made the world of difference to my skin, and most days I don't need to do the lunch time touch up. The cream really matifies my skin, but not to the point where my skin feels tight or dehydrated. The primer creates the perfect canvas for the rest of my make-up. It's silicone based, and while I normally favour water based primers this is proving to be quite a miracle product and one I'm not sure I can be without now.
If you're experiencing your make-up melting away in this heat, then pop over to The Body Shop, they constantly have some form of sale on so you can grab yourself a bargain.
