The enticing topic of lipbalms

I struggled to come up with an interesting title for this blogpost, but it's about lipbalms and I feel most people would consider this to be a boring subject. Not if you are a beauty blogger though! I think finding the right lipbalm for you is quite a task and not one to be taken lightly. I always find if my lips are chapped or sore it puts me in a right mood, so yeah you could say lipbalms may appear boring but they are a necessity.
I feel I have well and truly stuck my foot into the world of lipbalms, I have tried a fair few and these are the ones currently in my stash.

The Korres Jasmine lipbalm is probably my all time favourite. It has a slight tint to but I still wear it at night time and have never had any problems with this. I feel it actually nourishes and repairs my lips and if they are sore I wake up and my lips are back to normal. It seems every blogger is a fan of carmex and to be honest, I don't get the appeal. I used this religiously when I was in Australia for the SPF factor. When they were dry from air con it sorted them right out but apart from that I never reach for it at home.. I just don't get it.

The Nuxe Reve de Miel balm is a luxury buy, at about £9 this is not a cheap purchase.I don't even think it will last me that long as I seem to be going through this at an alarming rate. This is the thickest balm I have ever used and when I wake in the morning I can feel a tiny bit of the product remaining. When I returned from Australia my lips were in a state for about a week. I have never suffered that bad before, I think it was a combination of the flight, dramatic difference in climate change and feeling run down. This really helped sort them out and obviously for that reason it does bump it up in my estimations. However, do I think it is worth the price tag and hype? Honestly, no I don't. It's nice but that's about as far as my admiration for this product goes. I will continue to use it but I will probably go back to the Korres when I finish it.

Have you tried any of these? What is your favourite lipbalm?
