Face Mask Sunday

I am fully aware I sound like a walking blogging cliché but I have become rather partial to a face mask or two when sunday evening rolls around. There is nothing quite like fighting the Monday morning blues with a good pampering session and these are the products that have been working their way into my routine. I can not take full credit for my new routine, as Anna from Vivianna Does Make up  planted this seed in many a bloggers heads.

I start off by giving my skin a good cleanse, and my top pick at the moment is Soap & Glory's peaches and clean. A great cleanser that doesn't have a price tag that will break the bank. I have waxed lyrical about this a number of times so I won't spend too much time on that but it really is one of my all time favourites.

I then proceed to apply the Origins Clear Improvement mask which is charcoal  based and really lifts all the dirt, grime and excess oil that may be on my skin. It dries hard on your skin and you will feel like you have had botox all over your face. I rinse off with a muslin cloth and then proceed to the next step. I recently received the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask* and it is probably the most expensive mask I will ever own. At £30 this stuff is by no means cheap but I only use this once a week so It will last quite a while. It looks like marmalade and is rather sticky in consistency but once rinsed off leaves my skin with a really healthy glow.

I often (not always) finish my pampering session by applying the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. This leaves my skin feeling properly hydrated in the morning.

There we have it, my new Sunday night routine. I am on a massive skin care binge at the moment and have been testing some really great products so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

Are you partial to a Sunday night pampering session?
