At one point glowing skin was not on my agenda. The reason for this was having a slightly oily complexion so my skin kindly supplied it's own glistening effect. Plus, I always thought that having oily skin meant I had to stay away from highlighters but these days I have been changing the rules. I am even wearing a "glowing foundation" which is completely unheard of for me.
Highlighters seem to be my new addiction, I have a couple bookmarked on my computer waiting to be purchased and this is the latest addition to my stash. Of course like most make up products, I am in no shortage and greed often takes over when faced with a pretty product.
These days I am all about achieving a healthy glow and think strategically placed a highlighter can really perk up any complexion. So, when I saw Nars were bringing out a new highlighter I had to get my hands on it. I was torn between Miss Liberty and Satellite of Love ( I still may get Miss Liberty but shhh!).
Satellite of love is part of the Andy Warhol Collection which didn't really grab my attention until I saw reviews of this. I had been eyeing up Miss Liberty but in the end went for Satellite of Love.
Satellite of love is a lovely peach/golden shade which in the pan looks like it is glitter central! Once blended onto the skin I find the glitter is not chunky but merely provides a lovely warm glow to the skin. I think this will compliment most skin tones and I can't wait to wear this when I am super tanned at Christmas in Australia!
Next on my Highlighter hit list is Gleam by Illamasqua.

This is lovely but I'm not sure about the glitter:)

This looks gorgeous. I'm a little bit obsessed with highlighters too and have just bought yet another Mac MSF, this time in Light Year. However, I ordered this online and didn't realise it had glitter in it, so I'm not best pleased about that - I prefer more of a subtle shimmer.

Oh I loooove this highlighter! I also have Candlelight from MAC that you mention in another post. I have been playing for highlighting and contouring, but I haven't find a good contour color yet. May just have to test some out next time I go to Sephora ;)
