Orly Nail Polish

Hello Lovelies

You all know how much of a nail varnish hoarder I have become lately, so when an email popped into my inbox offering me the chance to choose any three polishes from the brand ORLY I literally snapped their fingers off. I have never tried ORLY before so I was very excited to see what they had to offer.

Green with envy- Tiara- Basket Case

For me, the three colours I chose are the epitome of the colours I am loving on my nails right now. Oh and it is worth mentioning that I have broke the nails on both my index fingers ( what are the chances) so yeah excuse the stub but I refuse to file them all down to a shorter length.

Basket Case is your typical Barbie pink.. what's not to love?
I was really impressed with the consistency of these ORLY Polishes. They are really creamy and this shade was nearly opaque in just one coat, I applied a second coat just to be on the safe side. I don't use a top coat at the minute because I am sick of it turning gloopy, you can see in the photo this shade has a lovely gloss like finish which is a bonus.

One of my current obsessions at the moment is green or turquoise colours. I have acquired a few lately and when I spotted this I just had to include Green with envy in the three. This is the most green shade I own as my others tend to lean more towards the turquoise side. This was a little less opaque than basket case and took about three coats until I was happy with it. However the shade is beautiful and I can put up with a little extra hard work for a lovely finish.

The third polish I chose was Tiara which is a silver glitter. I am obsessed with glitter at the moment and I realised I don't actually own a silver glitter polish.
Enter ORLY Tiara..

I like glitter polishes to be quite thick in consistency as a few I have tried have been quite watery and hardly offer any sparkle. I never wear glitter polish on it's own so I teamed it up with Basket case and Green with envy to add some bling

I also found Tiara incredibly easy to remove, which is often a complaint I have about glitter polishes.

I am really impressed with ORLY as a brand and glad I have dabbled my fingers (get it?) into another nail polish brand.
I particularly love the rubber lid which makes opening it easier when they can become stiff..genius idea!

ORLY have also just launched their cool romance collection which contains six pastel shades perfect for spring!

ORLY varies in price depending which retailer you buy from.
The best prices I have found is in Boots, Look Fantastic and Beauty Bay
